The Chop

Recently I've been getting rather frustrated with my hair, for one thing it's extremely bleach damaged on the ends making it dry and brittle. For another thing it tangled extremely easily, and as much as the length made me feel like a Disney princess, I decided it was time to change. Every time someone would ask me what length I was having my hair, it got shorter and shorter until I eventually asked my hairdresser what she thought.
I left her to choose and I love the result.

I've now short collar bone length hair with choppy layers throught to replace traditional layers. I still have around three inches of blonde left from when it was ombréd in June and the short length and layers help to cover up the rubbish job that was done.

It's fair to say I love it, it's so out of my comfort zone and yet, it's so me.
So what do you think?

Until next time, stay beautiful

Holiday Looks

                                                                                                    Me attempting the sea

Last week I took a holiday with my family  Devon and I thought I would share with you some of my favorites from the trip.

This is one of my favorite outfits I wore, simply because I specifically bought  this skirt from New Look, for the holiday and I'd waited so long to wear it.  The top is a crop top from H&M and I'm pretty sure it was around £4 which is a bargain.

It's fair to say the above picture took a while to get;

Outfit Two

This outfit was to deal with the weird weather, as you can see it was very different throughout the day. In the first picture I'm wearing a textured skater skirt from Primark which was around £5 and a grey floral jumper from New Look which was £7 in the sale. The boots I'm wearing are from F&F at Tesco who always have great boots in autumn.

By the afternoon, I'd changed into a thin tank top with a zip from New look and  a pair of simple strappy sandals from Primark Which have lasted amazingly well.

Until next time, stay beautiful

Recent Purchases

Recently I've been shoping quite a lot so I thought I would share my haul with you.

Makeup

When shopping, its obvious one of the first places I head to is Boots and superdrug for makeup. The amount of makeup I managed to buy was shameful yet fulfilling.

I re-purchased the Rimmel wake me up foundation in 010 light porcelain, it's one of my favorite drugstore foundations and I love it.

After hearing so many people raving about the soap and glory Archery eye pencil, I had to pick it up to give it a try for myself and on first impressions I quite like it. I got this in shade blonde-shell and I have to say Iove the names of soap and glory products.

I sort of fell into the Revlon counter and left with two of the new colorstay moisture stains, I got both London posh and L.A exclusive. I absolutely love L.A exclusive however London posh simply doesn't suit me because it comes out quite brown rather than the peachy shade it looks but it's quite nice to put over another lipstick.

Also from Revlon I picked up a lip butter in 027, juicy papaya, which is very natural and pretty.

I also picked up a hand sanitizer from the body shop because they smell so much better than normal ones.

Accessories

I popped into topshop and fell inlove with these midi rings. After seeing midi rings around for a while I finally decided to try some out. The first being gold with a little pink stone, and I've been told it looks very Disney princessy. The second, a set of three identical rings in different colours, that look like tiny little chevrons and are completly adorable.

The last things I bought were an online purchase and are some more real techniques brushes. It's fair to say I love these brushes and I'm never disappointed by them.  I brought the core collection, the shading brush and the retractable lip brush.

Until next time, stay beautiful

July Favourites

Throughout July, I've had quite a few favourites because I've actually gone outside for a change.

The first being a flower crown I included in a haul a while ago. I've been loving, not just this but hairbands in general, to hold my hair out of my face whilst it's warm. I wore my flower crown to a 'beach' day me and my little cousin held in the garden whilst the weather was great.

I've also been loving the Maybelline color sensational lipstick in 910, Shocking Coral. It's bright and fun, everything I want in summer and it lasts quite well.

The next item I've been loving is the Boots simply sensitive cleansing wash gel. It does what it says, it leaves my skin clean and fresh without irritating it.

The last item is another hair item and is a floral bun ring garland thing, in the best way I can describe, and it's awesome. It makes effortless hair look like it took an age which Iove.

until next time, stay beautiful
