It appears that every time I go shopping I never fail to pick some sort of beauty product. After a couple of shopping trips with the girls I've gathered a small collection of new products.
One of the first products on my long list is the Sleek Brow Kit in light, which I grabbed wanting to try something new for my brows after using pencils for the past few years. However I've found that the wax in the duo is rather red toned and it does not suit my blonde brows. The powder is not too red and I'll occasionally use it to set my brows if I feel I need my brows setting.
I've blogged about the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder multiple times before, this generally is my go-to for powders.
The sleek contour kit is a product that I've wanted to try for a while now and I've got to say I was not disappointed. The contour is perfectly matte and blends well with a fluffy brush. I don't use highlighters regularly but I have found that I rather like this one as it is subtle and natural. The light contour kit is also great for my fair skin.
The final Sleek product I picked up was an I-Divine eyeshadow palette in 'Au Natural' which is a mix of mattes and shimmers, warm and cool shadows. This palette is great for everyday wear but also gives the opportunity to make an natural but dramatic look. The shadows in the palette are also fairly long lasting, meaning overall the palette is a great value for money.
Clinique chubby sticks are well known to all on the beauty scene. Therefore I felt that I needed to get myself a handy little lip balm. I've found that the intense chubby stick that I've acquired in 'Roomiest Rose' is strong enough to be a lipstick but moisturizing enough to be a lip balm.
Whilst out I picked up two products from Benefit. The first being the Porefessional primer in the hope of making my makeup last the whole day. This product does as I wish, it reduces my pores and makes my makeup last the day.
The benefit 'boi-ing industrial strength concealer' is a thick creamy concealer. It covers blemishes and dark circles alike. However with my fair skin it can show up on blemishes, even in the lightest shade, so I use it on my dark circles.
One of the two skin care products I picked up was the Simple oil balancing cleansing wipes to try to balance my combination skin. After a limited time, I cannot say what effect the wipes have on my skin.
The final product to note is a micellar water, this type of product is raved about everywhere at the moment. I can understand why. This product removes makeup effortlessly and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clear. I picked up the Garnier Pure Active Micellar Water with it being such good value at roughly £4 for 400ml.
Until next time, stay beautiful
