Travel Hairstyles

The first hairstyle is the basic ponytail which looks awesome and laid back whether you wear it high and perky or low and messy.

High and Perky

Low and Casual

The next, is the messy bun, the lazyness staple. I love messy buns because they're so easy to do and maintain throughout the day especially if you're going on a long journey.

A Simple Messy Bun
For the next idea, I was looking for a jazzed up half up half down style that was simple so I started a French braid and around half way down my head I pinned the braid. To make this last for your travels I suggest that to tie it with a hair tie.

My Take On the Classic
Finally is the French braid , which as a kid is the only way my mom would do my hair when we were traveling simply because it keeps your hair out if your face and holds well especially if you hair spray it for a long haul flight, it also helps to keep frizz at bay. I also quite like the effect of this with ombred or dip-dyed hair.

I hope this helps someone, and like normal,

My Roller Coaster Experience

For many people, going to a theme is easy, a annual treat, but for me I've always dreaded it. Recently my Mom decided it was time for me to get over my fear, so she bought the family tickets. It's fair to say I resented her for it.

The fifth of July came along and I woke up anxious. We all got up early for the 45 minute drive to Alton and Alton Towers. We stopped at McDonalds for breakfast or in my little brothers case, a milkshake, and around 10 minutes later the car also decided it wanted to stop altogether.
We then had to call my Grandparents to pick us up and drop us off.

Eventually and hours late, we arrived at my nightmare destination. We decided to go on the smaller rides first, and I started to realize that this wasn't all that bad. However my Mom decided one smaller ride was enough and decided we should head to The Enterprise which basically is a Ferris wheel in which you go upside down in. Personally I hate the feeling of being upside down so I skipped out on this, but my Mom decided to set a challenge for me to either go on this or Oblivion. Oblivion is the worlds first vertical drop roller coaster, and I was definitely pooing my self on the long wait for the ride with my sister.

When we finally got strapped in, I started nervously chatting to the woman beside me and I think I I might have scared her slightly.  We reached the vertical drop and I swear my heart was gonna burst out of my chest. When we dropped it was one of the most exhilarating things I've ever done, I loved it.

We continued the day running from ride to ride and I loved it. I was so anxious to do anything like it but I shocked myself by trying something new and loving it.

I even managed to find a coke bottle with my name on

One thing, however, I'm terrified of is cable cars. I can' stand them. My mom also decided it would be easier to go on these than wall across the park, so I had to sit with my headphones in whilst my brother shook the thing because he was enjoying it that much.

Eventually we got off of the flying horrors and made it in time for another go on TH13TEEN, which we had all loved previously in the day.  Whilst waiting in the queue I daringly told my mom if we had time we would be going on Rita  which accelerates up to 61 mph in 2.5 seconds and as we got closer to the front I was starting to regret my decision . In the end I loved it.

I would urge people to leave your comfort zone, even if just for a day, you never know you might love it.

Trying New Things

Hi Guys,

Generally as a person, I find it quite hard to try new things. This can be something as small as the deodorant I use to big things like a new experience, either way I always seem to stick to the same thing. This even happens with makeup, I always seem to use the same products day after day.

However it's time for that to change. My new years resolution was to try new things and it was fair to say it's flopped .  Recently I realized if I don't try new things, I'm not living my life to the full. So I've decided I'll post if I do something big and crazy, even if to most it seems rather small, because honestly it's time for me to be pushed out of my comfort zone even just a little.

To me this will be such a big achievement because I really struggle doing new things, they seem like such a gray area to me.

So whether it's a food, product or experience I'll be sure to let you know.

Until next time, stay beautiful

June Favorites

Through the month it's fair to say I've been quite ill and the products I've been using are few and far between. However, the few products I have been loving this month have made it so much more pleasant.

The first thing I have been loving is pajama bottoms that look leggings, simply because they can be worn throughout the day and they are extremely comfortable. A few of  my favorites are these from primark and I just love the patterns. These were quite light so they are perfect for summer.
Another thing I've been loving, are these shorts also from primark. They are loose and flowy which is a step away from my normal denim shorts for summer and I have to admit that I'm loving the change.
I've also been loving  the Barry M gelly nail polishes, especially this one in 'sugar apple' which is a pastel turquoise type colour that screams summer.

Until next time, stay beautiful

My Prom Experience

On the 1st of July I had my school prom, and it was so much better than expected. I got to spend the evening dancing and having fun with my closest friends. It's fair to say everyone looked absolutely amazing.

me before prom at my friends house.

Me and some of my friends at prom

A few people don't see the point in prom and originally I had quite low expectations. I didn't have an expensive dress or even a date to prom, I went with my best friends and expected everyone to look much better than me.I didn't even know if I would last the whole night because I've been really ill with my hayfever recently

I also managed to survive my first high school party. This party had quite and unusual location by the fact that it took place in my friends barn which was rather a strange location. Many of my friends got quite drunk and it was quite interesting to see. I was left as the responsible friend who made sure no one fell asleep in the cow shed.

I would put some of the party pictures but it turns out none of then had very good lighting at all.

In the end I had such a great night and I encourage everyone to make the most of prom whether of not you have the most expensive dress or not or if you have a date or not. It's even fair to say we danced all night to the best song ever without being ashamed.

Until next time, stay beautiful
